| Usage: | For use by foreign language instructors or students requiring small group work. Foreign Language or Humanities instructors may reserve studios at the reception desk. Students use the studios on a first-come-first-serve basis. |
| Equipment: | Studio 1 is for special projects. It is equipped with a video editing suite, and Macintosh for digitizing video or audio. Faculty may request aditional equipment for their students’ use. This studio may be used only by faculty or students registered in a class that is assigned a special project. Studio 2 containsa Macintosh computer and two laserdisc players that are specifically set up for the Shakespeare Project in Literature. DVD player and 20” monitor also available. Studio 3 has a Macintosh computer with 17” monitor, 20+” video monitor, VCR, and laserdisc player. All studios have amp, stereo speakers, & 8’ whiteboard. |

| Notes: | Each studio has been dedicated to one of the languages taught in FL&L at MIT. You will find maps, art works, and memorabilia relevant to that language. Studio 2-ESL, Studio 3-Japanese. |
